DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE

Ahlcon Public School is a vision-driven school committed to meet the educational needs of K-12 students in the changing times. W.B. Yeats rightly observed, "Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire". We understand educational needs as those encompassing physical, social, intellectual and emotional development. To achieve these aspirations, we have developed a robust infrastructural base, comprehensive curriculum and value-based delivery mechanism.  There is a reliable connection between classroom learning and outdoor experiences; between parental role and that of the school; and between learning for now and learning for life.

We place a  high premium on the role of teachers, their competencies, skills and ability to nurture talent.  Rapid changes in technology and globalisation are drastically changing the education scenario. This change will require a sense of urgency in creating a new collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to enrich our teaching-learning process. We need to prepare the students for the modern world and who can become responsible and engaged members of society, resulting in sustainable growth, peace and positive global impact.

Our motto “Education for Enlightenment” is a driving force to pitch our students and their thoughts and creativity with their counterparts in the different time zones of the world. They are encouraged to form online learning communities, collaborate on joint projects, exchange visits and learn the value of appreciation for different cultures.

Preparing children for life calls for equipping them with more exceptional values and academic competencies. Our alumni have found places in the top universities in India and abroad, covering a broad range of disciplines. Most of them now work with prestigious organisations in India and abroad. Their success stories validate and fuel our efforts.

Our former President APJ Abdul Kalam asked, “Can we make an education system which will retain the smiles on the faces of our children throughout their education?” We are committed to meet this challenge.
