events : Classes 1 & 2 trip to Lodhi Garden
Ahlcon Public School organizes excursion trips to provide holistic growth of the students and stimulate comprehensive learning. These trips tend to be most cherishing moments of a student’s life. Keeping this in mind students of classes 1 and 2 went on an edifying cum pleasurable trip to Lodhi Garden on 5 November 2019. The students were accompanied by their class teachers. The students were informed that Lodhi Garden was built by Ibrahim Lodhi, who was the Sultan of Delhi. The main highlights were the tombs, which spoke volumes of the architectural glory of the Mughal Empire. The students basked in the warmth of the Sun.
The students were excited about the trip. They took a walk in the garden in the morning. Then they sat down in groups with their art files and gave expression to their inner artist. They would look around and gaze at trees, birds or the monument and then draw...it was a welcome change from the structured school routine.
Once the drawing colouring session was over they enjoyed their lunch.... sharing lunch and muffins. They then played games in the park with the respective class teachers. Their laughter filled the environment with joy. They returned to the school within school hours. It was learning and fun filled excursion enjoyed by the students.
