Meditation and Yoga as adjunctive therapies for Covid-19 . The Covid-19 pandemic is stressful for everyone , and can be a trigger for emotional distress in most of us. So sports teachers have decided to organize 20 minutes yoga and meditation session for students . A few minutes yoga and meditation during the day can be a great way to get rid of the stress that accumulates daily in both body and mind. Yoga postures , pranayama and meditation are effective techniques to release stress. Meditation is relaxation which gives calm mind , good concentration and rejuvenation of the body and mind. Students experienced a reduction in stress and anxiety levels after completing a six weeks yoga and meditation program . Result suggest that adopting a mindfulness practice as little as twice per week may reduce stress and anxiety in students .
