Visits & Excursions

A Day at National School of Drama

Learning to focus for an hour and a half — or more — is a skill that’s particularly important in this digital age."

Keeping this very idea in mind , the students of class VIII were given an opportunity to watch the play "Gumnaam Sitaare- The Unsung Heroes" on 3 November 2022 at Abhimanch Auditorium, National School of Drama.

Watching a play or a live performance enables the children to develop new skills. Students learn to understand the protocols of theatre, such as not making noise and knowing when to applaud.

Students were shown humanity, collaboration, psychology, conflict, triumph and trauma.

As the audience, they got to witness the life’s journey or parts of stories which often are very familiar to them. The children enjoyed the play fully and are looking forward to more such opportunities in future.

Mother Dairy Visit Report Class 5

Educational tours are essential for the overall development of a student. They provide valuable educational opportunities away from the classroom, without using textbooks and other tools used in a usual school setting. Students on educational trips can often learn while having fun in a more informal environment. To provide practical exposure to the students Ahlcon Public School (Primary Wing), organized an industrial visit to “Mother Dairy”, Patparganj New Delhi Plant on 3rd and 4th November, 2022 for all six sections of Class V accompanied by their Class teachers. As part of the introduction, the employees informed the students about the nutritional value of Mother Dairy's milk and how it serves as almost a complete food. They also gave a presentation related to the history of Mother Dairy Plant. She told students about the white revolution and primitive and newer modes of milk collection and distribution. She also told about the actual milk processing capacity of the plant with the significance of the steps in processing. Further, short videos were shown, demonstrating the processes involved in the production of milk, its storage and distribution methods adopted by Mother Dairy to serve its customers. The students had over all a good experience with an in-depth learning.

Rail Museum Trip

Pre Primary Department of Ahlcon Public School organized educational field trips for our tiny tots this year to The Rail Museum. The purpose of this trip was to give students an experience outside of the classroom. Excursions allow students to experience concepts firsthand, which helps in the long-term retention of knowledge. This learning experience was well supplemented with a joy ride in a mini train. It provided them with a fresh perspective. It was a satisfactory day filled with fun and excitement for the young buds.
