'When we care for the Earth, we care for ourselves'. World Earth Day was celebrated on 22.4.22 in Pre-primary department. The first thing the children need to understand is that we have only one earth and it is our job to make sure that it stays clean and healthy. We talked about all the different aspects of earth- water, land. Wildlife, atmosphere and humans and how much each plays a role. Small videos were shared and songs were sung to reinforce the 4 R – Reduce. Reuse, Recycle and Refuse.

Children were asked to bring pulses from their home. Nursery had done watering the plants activity and prep children had done the seed sowing activity. Colouring the sketch of the earth was done as the class activity in both the sections. The colouring activity was a take away for all children.
