events : National Pollution Control Day
Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials into the environment. These harmful materials are called pollutants. Pollutants can be natural, such as volcanic ash. They can also be created by human activity, such as trash or runoff produced by factories. Pollutants damage the quality of air, water, and land.
National Pollution Control Day 2021 was observed on 2nd December to remember the people who lost lives during 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. It is also the day to raise awareness about the hazards of air pollution.
Teachers made a PPT showing different aspects of pollution and the destruction created by it. Children were made aware of the things which can cause pollution. They were sensitized about the prevention of different types of pollution.
