The 36th Annual Day Celebration of Ahlcon Public School, Oorja: Symphony of Soul and Strength, was a grand and inspiring event that showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing inner strength and spiritual vitality. Held on 18th January 2025, the event celebrated Oorja as the universal energy that connects and sustains all life, a force that powers every corner of existence. It was a day filled with joy, inspiration, and a celebration of holistic excellence.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities, including Padma Shri awardees Ms. Nalini Asthana, who served as the Chief Guest, and Ms. Kamalini Asthana, the Guest of Honor. Adding to the occasion's prestige was the esteemed School President, Sh. Bikramjeet Ahluwalia, and Smt. Sudershan Ahluwalia, whose guidance has always been the cornerstone of the institution's success. The members of the management committee, including Sh. S.K. Sachdeva, Sh. M.K.G. Pillai, Sh. Arun Sahai, Sh.Shaleen Khetrapal, and Ms. Arti Gupta, also graced the event with their presence, further enriching the occasion.

The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, followed by a powerful invocation of divine blessings through the Surya Stuti.

The Principal, Dr Deepak Raj Singh Bisht, presented the Annual School Report, highlighting the school’s exceptional achievements at both national and international levels. The report also underscored the school’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure and providing quality education, reflecting Ahlcon’s vision of holistic development.

The felicitation ceremony honoured the outstanding achievements of students, both in academics and co-curricular activities. The Sudarshan Cup for Best Conduct was awarded to Udit Utreja, while the President’s Cup was conferred upon Jayesh Karnatac for exceptional overall performance. Mannat received the Chairman’s Cup for innovative problem-solving. Students were awarded for outstanding co-curricular achievements in diverse fields. The event also celebrated the collective achievements of the school’s houses. Shravan House was awarded the Champion House Trophy, in addition to being recognized as the Best House in Literary Activities. Prahlad House won accolades for Cultural Activities, while Dhruv House triumphed in Sports.

The cultural performances brought the essence of Oorja to life through mesmerizing displays of creativity and talent. The cultural program commenced with a vocal symphony that set a harmonious tone, followed by the theatrical presentation of Bachpan, which emphasized the importance of holistic development beyond academics, nurturing creativity, emotional intelligence, and curiosity. A captivating yoga display highlighted the Vedic traditions of balancing the body’s energy centres, fostering physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual enlightenment. The dancers stole the show with a stunning composition that portrayed Oorja as a cosmic manifestation, blending philosophies like Shiva’s dance to emphasize energy's cyclical nature of creation and destruction. Their graceful movements and intense energy left the audience spellbound, perfectly encapsulating the event’s theme.

In her inspiring address, Chief Guest Ms Nalini Asthana reflected on the events comprising dance drama and play, well-knit by anchoring and applauding the efforts of the students, teachers, and school management mentioned “Knowledge transcends the boundaries of alphabets, encompassing the rich integration of art, culture, traditions, values, and heritage. Her words that children are the pillars of the future, and providing them with a strong and holistic foundation is essential for their development and a well-rounded education that focuses on academics, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and life skills empowers them to become responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow, resonated deeply with the audience.

Guest of Honor Ms. Kamalini Asthana also praised the hard work and dedication that made the event a resounding success, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and perseverance.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Cultural Captain Manshita Dogra, followed by the School Song, which united the audience in a moment of shared pride and joy.
