Ahlcon Public School’s Carnival:
A Grand Celebration of Joy, Culture, and Unity
On October 26, 2026, Ahlcon Public School became a vibrant world of festivities as it hosted its much-anticipated Carnival. The campus transformed into a radiant tapestry of colour, sound, and cheer, drawing students, parents, teachers, and community members together in a grand celebration. Held in two sessions – Foundational and Preparatory from 10 AM to 2 PM, and Middle and Senior from 2 PM to 6 PM – the carnival set the stage for a thrilling day filled with laughter, creativity, and an unmistakable sense of community.
The Carnival was inaugurated with great enthusiasm by Shri Bikramjit Ahluwalia, President of the School Society, who graced the event and cut the ceremonial ribbon. He appreciated the collective efforts of students, teachers, and staff in bringing the vibrant celebration to life. With his encouraging message and visit to the stalls, he set a positive tone for the day, officially opening the event and welcoming everyone to partake in the festivities with joy and enthusiasm.
The school grounds thrived with bustling stalls, lively performances, and a myriad of activities that left everyone exhilarated. Each house contributed to the festivities with popular games like Ball Toss, Bottle Match, and Lucky Ducky . Other stalls brimmed with fun challenges like Tambola, Karaoke, Rifle Shooting, and Table Tennis, drawing lines of eager participants. Students and guests cheered each other on, celebrating friendly competition with every win. These stalls, each one unique, not only entertained but also fostered camaraderie and unity across all age groups.
The carnival also shone as a cultural showcase. Guests were treated to vibrant dance performances like Rajasthan's graceful Ghoomer and Punjab's spirited Bhangra, stirring the audience and bringing energy to the carnival’s heart. Students enchanted attendees with a musical medley of solos, duets, and group performances that highlighted the school's exceptional talent. The energetic beats and harmonious melodies filled the air, adding a lively rhythm to the day's events. A captivating Tambola session brought families together, bonding them through a game of luck and laughter, with prizes adding a sweet note of excitement.
A diverse array of food stalls offered a culinary tour, with delicacies spanning both local and international flavours, satisfying every palate and tempting guests to try new tastes. The artistic Kalakaari art gallery, filled with works by talented students, provided a quiet retreat from the bustling activity, allowing visitors to admire creative expressions that celebrated the students' skills and imagination.
The day's events drew to a thrilling close with the Lucky Draw, where eager anticipation filled the air as the crowd awaited the announcement of the lucky winners: a washing machine in the morning session and a TV in the evening session. Smiles and cheers erupted as the winners took the stage, their joy shared by all.
Then, as the sun began to set, the highlight of the evening unfolded – the breathtaking Sky Lantern Release led by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht, along with the Headmistresses of various wings, the Administrative Officer and members of the Student Council. The release symbolised unity, hope, and the boundless aspirations of the Ahlcon community. The lanterns drifted up into the evening sky, illuminating the school grounds and creating a magical scene that left everyone in awe. The moment was a poignant symbol of the school's commitment to enlightenment, resilience, and a hopeful future, with each lantern representing the school’s dreams and values rising into the world.
