SECONDARY WING EXCURSION TO TRISHUL ORCHARD RESORT, MUKTESHWAR (UTTARAKHAND)

Educational trips facilitate ample learning opportunities for the evolving young minds especially in shaping their beliefs, fostering this motto Ahlcon Public School, New Delhi organised an excursion trip for the students of the secondary wing class 10th from 1 JUNE 2024 – 6 JUNE 2024 during the summer vacation to The Trishul Orchard Resort, Mukteshwar (Uttarakhand) located at a distance of 357 km from Delhi.

June 1st, 2024: At 9:00 pm, students gathered at the school premises where they received luggage tags and ID cards for the trip. Departure commenced at 10:00 pm towards The Trishul Orchard Resort, with students provided juice, chips, and biscuits during the journey. A brief stopover of 20 minutes was made at Gajraula.

June 2nd, 2024: The dawn greeted the students with breathtaking views of Kathgodam's green landscapes, mountains, and valleys at 5:00 am. They soaked in the beauty of pine, deodar, oak forests, and swaying fields along the way. Arriving at the resort at 8:30 am, students were grouped and assigned rooms or tents, and briefed on camp rules. Breakfast was served, followed by a program briefing and expectation setting. A 'Team Poster' making activity ensued, guided by a trainer, followed by lunch for the teams. Adventure activities, high tea, and refreshments filled the afternoon, while a Night Trek offered a glimpse of the nocturnal forest life. Campers later enjoyed a Camp Fire with live music, followed by dinner at 8:30 pm, winding down for the night by 10:30 pm.

June 3rd, 2024: The day commenced with a wakeup call and Yoga session, preparing campers for another day of adventure. After breakfast, they visited Mukteshwar Temple, engaging in activities like Rappelling and Slack Lining. Lunch was followed by a short rest period, with High Tea and refreshments served later. The evening brought musical entertainment with a DJ and Bonfire, ending with a scrumptious dinner before retiring for the night.

June 4th, 2024: After morning Yoga and breakfast, campers embarked on a water sports adventure, involving a downhill trek to a fresh water stream. Following safety briefings, they enjoyed swimming and cliff diving, before returning for lunch and a brief rest. High Tea preceded fun activities like the Commando Obstacle course and Archery.

June 5th, 2024: The day began with Yoga and breakfast, followed by checkout from the resort and departure for Nainital at 10 AM. After lunch and boating at Nainital Lake, they visited Naina Devi Temple and indulged in shopping at Mall Road. The journey back to Delhi commenced at 6:30 pm, with refreshments served during the trip and dinner at The Ivory Hotel in Haldwani.

June 6th, 2024: At 5:30 am, the students returned to school, brimming with experiences and memories, warmly welcomed by waiting parents. The four-day excursion concluded on a joyful note, with each participant carrying cherished memories.

The trip was efficiently organized by Ahlcon teaching staff, including Mr. Rajesh Sehgal, Ms. Neerja Gupta, Mr. D.K. Narwaria, Ms. Chandra Prabha, and Ms. Jyoti Nautiyal.
