TECH FIESTA AT AHLCON

Ahlcon Public School's Souvenir Club organised the grandest and the most awaited technological extravaganza of Delhi/NCR- 'Silico Battles v 20.1' on 19 Oct 2024. The fest made it magnificently to the front stage in 2003 scaling heights every year and bringing out the best in every contestant. This year also, this mega contest was an umbrella to 14 superb events reiterating the grandeur of past years. 25 schools with more than 250 students participated in various competitions like Robo Wars, 24 Frames, Digital Imagery, Programming and many more turning the fest into a stupendous success.

Sudarshan Hall, the auditorium brimming with audience, witnessed a remarkable Opening Ceremony which gained impetus with a cordial welcome of judges followed by an eloquent and voluble speech of the Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht. His motivating words filled the participants with energy and enthusiasm, thus energising them to do their best without any fear or anxiety. Subsequently, the Launch Video set the tone of the event which was a masterpiece creation made by the Souvenir Club VFX Team.

All the 14 events were well arranged for within the school premises and were efficiently managed by the Convenor, Mr. Jagdish Prasad, teachers and student members of the Club. The open auditorium became the arena of Robo Wars where robots wrestled with each other to make it to the top. The shortlisted films of the contest '24 Frames' were screened in the school auditorium, each one earning an applause from the audience.

After the successful completion of all tech matches, the Closing Ceremony began in all its vigour. Dr. Bisht honoured the winners by giving away the prizes. The Champion's trophy was bagged by Amity International School, Mayur Vihar and Runner's-up trophy went to Apeejay, Noida. The tech gala ended with a Vote of Thanks by Ashvathi Kurup, Student President of the Club and with a stronger conviction to present a better version of the event next year on part of the entire Ahlcon team under the able guidance of our Principal, earning accolades once again from one and all.
