Ahlcon Carnival: Fun, Food and Festivity

Ahlcon Public School buzzed with excitement on Saturday, October 11, 2025, as the much-awaited Ahlcon Carnival unfolded with colour, laughter and community spirit. The event was inaugurated by Shri Bikramjit Ahluwalia, President, Shanti Devi Progressive Education Society, along with Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht. Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Principal, Ahlcon International School and Members of the School Management Committee, Mr. S. K. Sachdeva and Mr. M.K.G. Pillai also graced the occasion. Mr. P. K. Bhatnagar, former Manager of Ahlcon Schools and Mr. Sandeep Sehgal, a renowned journalist, also took out time from their schedules to visit the carnival.

The carnival offered a delightful blend of games, music, art and flavours. From fun House game stalls that helped students build confidence, teamwork, creativity and entrepreneurial skills to rhythmic beats of performances by students, every corner of the field reverberated with laughter and cheer. The Garba performance emerged as one of the most captivating highlights of the day. Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, students, teachers and parents together swirled to the tunes of folk music, creating a spectacular visual treat. The rhythmic claps, graceful steps and festive energy transformed the school ground into a colourful arena of celebration, symbolizing unity and cultural pride.

Adding to the fun were, Table Tennis and Rifle Shooting zones that tested skill and precision, while rides for children brought squeals of excitement. The Magic Show, enjoyed equally by children and adults, kept audiences spellbound with fascinating tricks and humour. Tambola, Fashion Show and Karaoke sessions also drew crowds in quite a large number.

A special highlight of the day was the ‘Kalakaari’ stall, where students showcased handmade art and craft items—an inspiring example of entrepreneurship in children, promoting innovation, marketing and financial management skills at a young age.

The presence of School Alumni added warmth and nostalgia, as they revisited their alma mater and joined the festivities with enthusiasm. An array of food stalls catered to every craving, making it a paradise for food lovers. The excitement peaked as winners of various games took home exciting prizes and the evening concluded on a happy note. Brimming with smiles, music and memories, the Ahlcon Carnival stood as a testament to the school’s vibrant culture, teamwork and festive zeal.
