Annual Felicitation Day and Cultural Fiesta 2026
(Sanskriti Sangam: Celebrating India's Cultural Confluence)
Ahlcon Public School's Annual Felicitation Ceremony and Cultural Fiesta, Sanskriti Sangam – A Confluence of Culture, held on 24 January 2026, was a grand and enriching celebration of India’s enduring cultural heritage. The event beautifully showcased the seamless harmony between tradition and modernity, while reflecting the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, cultural celebration and holistic education.
The programme was graced by the distinguished presence of Ms Sikta Deo, Senior Anchor and Contributing Editor at NDTV as the Chief Guest. Also present were members of the School Management Committee, PTA, staff, parents, alumni and students. The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the victory of knowledge over ignorance, followed by an auspicious Ganesh Stuti seeking divine blessings.
Presenting the Annual School Report, the Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht, highlighted the school's remarkable achievements in academics including the placement of students in, co-scholastic activities and commendable initiatives over the past year. He proudly shared students’ outstanding placements, with 8 admissions to IITs, 1 to IIIT, 4 to IIMs, 5 through NEET, 3 to NSUT, 4 to BITS, and 5 to DTU. The achievements of the faculty also found mention along with the infrastructural up gradation of the school. He emphasised Ahlcon's consistent Board results, students' success at national and international platforms and the institution’s continued focus on nurturing values, discipline and excellence alongside academic growth.
The Felicitation Ceremony honoured students for outstanding scholastic and coscholastic accomplishments. Shrimati Sudaershan Ahluwalia Scholarships and Shri Bikramjit Ahluwalia Scholarships for Class X Board toppers were awarded to Shubhi Srivastava, Kanak Kapoor, Divit Jain and Advait Nair. From the most recent graduating batch, Akshat Dhoundiyal received the Sudarshan Cup for exemplary conduct, Sanskriti Agarwal was conferred the President's Cup for all-round excellence and Aadit Dhingra received the Chairman’s Cup for innovation. Students achieving cent percent scores in various subjects were recognised with the Director’s Cup while stream toppers were awarded the Principal's Cup. Prahlad House emerged as the Champion House for the session.
The cultural fiesta transported the audience to a spellbinding and harmonious world. It vividly brought Sanskriti Sangam to life through a captivating classical music rendition. The awe-inspiring rhythmic yoga left the audience dazzled with the young performance's agility, grace and balance. The play, a delightful and meaningful theatrical presentation on companionship, conversations and shared cultural significance in a globalised world, kept everyone engaged and agog. The enthralling dance finale featured diverse Indian classical dance forms such as Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Manipuri, Kathakali and Kuchipudi—embodying the theme of unity in diversity. It was indeed a perfect prelude to the Republic Day round the corner
In her inspiring address, Ms Sikta Deo applauded the students and faculty for their confidence, creativity and cultural rootedness, encouraging the young learners to cultivate curiosity, courage, compassion and responsibility as citizens during the early formative years much before reaching their eighteenth year. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the School Song, which united the audience in pride and gratitude.
The Annual Day celebration stood as a powerful testament to Ahlcon School's vision of nurturing enlightened, culturally grounded and future-ready citizens.Sanskriti Sangam stood as a powerful reminder that culture is not static—it flows, evolves and unites, much like a confluence shaping the future while honouring the past.
