THE ANNUAL CULTURAL & PRIZE DISTRIBUTION SHOW

PREPARATORY STAGE

The Annual Cultural & Prize Distribution Show of the Preparatory Stage of the Ahlcon Public school for the session 2024-25 was held on the 1st November 2025 in the school auditorium. The Chief Guest for the day was Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharyya, a career diplomat who served for 36 years in the Indian Foreign Service. President Shanti Devi Progressive Educational Society, Mr. Bikramjeet Ahluwalia & Mrs. Sudarshan Ahluwalia also graced the occasion. The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp & Krishna Stuti to invoke the blessings of the almighty.

This ceremony is a formal event in which students are bestowed with awards for their contribution to their Houses and excellence in various fields. The Houses that did exceptionally well in literary & cultural fields were awarded trophies. The award for the Best in Literary & Cultural Field was won by the Dhruv House. Dhruv House also lifted the Champions’ Trophy.

The Principal Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht, presented the school report highlighting the achievements of the students in various fields for the academic year 2024-25.

The award ceremony was followed by the cultural events. The theme for which was “MYTH MEETS MODERN”. The students showcased stories that included fairy tales, contemporary tales & myths in the form of song, dances & informative skits. The show left everyone mesmerised.

The Chief Guest Mr. Sanjay Bhattacharyya in his speech praised the event & pointed out that he was left speechless & nostalgic with the way the theme was depicted & with the amazing performances of the students. He expressed admiration for the school management, Principal & staff for providing best infrastructure & education to the children. He shared words of wisdom based on his experiences of around the globe.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks by the Head Mistress Preparatory Stage, Ms. Seema Soni.
