AHLCON HOSTS MEGA TECH ODYSSEY - 'SILICO BATTLES'

Ahlcon Public School hosted the much-awaited Silico Battles v21.1 on Saturday, 23 August 2025. The premier technology symposium of Delhi NCR, brought together young innovators, coders, designers and tech enthusiasts in a grand celebration of creativity and knowledge.

The day began with a cordial welcome and the ceremonial lamp lighting by Principal Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht and School Heads. The Souvenier Club, the driving force behind this event since its inception in 2003, once again provided a dynamic platform under the guidance of Mr. Jagdish Prasad, Convenor of the Club, for students to showcase their skills in fields like programming, digital imaging, app development, filmmaking, gaming and robotics.

Esteemed judges, including industry professionals and alumni, were felicitated by the Principal for guiding participants across diverse competitions such as Dexterity, Digital Imaging, 24 Frames, Robowars, Verse Off, and Fotographia. Principal, Dr.Bisht addressed the gathering, encouraging students to pursue innovation with passion and responsibility. The motivating speech by our erudite mentor was followed by the launch video which showcased the highlights of the technological extravaganza, the efforts of the team and the thrill of the event.

More than 350 participants from over 36 schools competed fiercely, embodying the spirit of collaboration, problem-solving and futuristic thinking. ‘Vote of Thanks’ was delivered by Arnav Malhotra, Student President of the Club. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where winners across categories were honoured. The Champion’s trophy was bagged by Apeejay School, Noida and the Runners-up trophy went to Somerville School, Noida amidst resounding applause.

With its blend of knowledge, competition and creativity, Silico Battles v21.1 once again proved to be a landmark event, inspiring young tech minds to reach for the stars.
