Pangot Trip Report- Class X (30th May – 3rd June 2025)
A group of 44 students of Class 10, accompanied by 4 teachers, went for a refreshing and adventurous trip to Pangot from 30th May to 3rd June 2025. Nestled amidst the lush green hills near Nainital, Pangot offered the perfect blend of natural beauty, peace, and outdoor excitement.
The students enthusiastically took part in a wide range of adventurous and outdoor activities, including nature walks, trekking to waterfall, bird watching, and various team-building games. They also experienced thrilling activities such as zipline, obstacle course, and survival skills training, which promoted confidence, resilience and teamwork.
Evenings were filled with fun around the bonfire, DJ music and dance, creating lasting memories for students.
On the final day, the group visited Nainital, where they explored the famous Cave Garden, shopped at the vibrant Tibetan Market, and paid a visit to the Naina Devi Temple. The highlight was a serene boating experience in the beautiful Naini Lake.
The trip emphasized responsible behaviour, digital detox and connecting with nature.
Overall, the Pangot trip was a wonderful experience that combined learning, adventure, and personal growth, leaving everyone rejuvenated and enriched.
REPORT OF ADVENTURE TRIP TO PANGOT
Date: 30/05/2025 to 03/06/2025
Location: Pangot, Uttarakhand
Participants: 75 students of Class XII
Organized by: The New Horizon Adventures
Objective of the Trip: The trip to Pangot was organized as an educational excursion aimed at providing students with exposure to outdoor adventure activities, team-building experiences, and an opportunity to learn about the local ecology in a real-world setting.
Accompanying teachers: Ms Rashmi Gupta, Ms Deepti Sharma, Ms Rajnee Gupta, Ms Jamila Maryam, Ms Kumkum, Mr Jagdish Prasad, Mr Manoj Sharma
Day 1: Arrival and Orientation
After an overnight journey, we reached Pangot, a serene hill station located 15 km from Nainital, surrounded by dense oak and rhododendron forests. Upon arrival at the campsite after long tracking of about one & a half hours students were welcomed with a warm breakfast and a safety briefing by the instructors. The rest of the day included room allotments, introduction to basic camping etiquette, team formation and team presentation, simulation based on communication, leadership & teamwork.
Day 2: Trekking and Adventure Activities
The second day was packed with outdoor challenges and explorations on survival skills. Birding session was organized with an expert naturalist. Night trekking helped them build their resilience & also develop sportsmanship and a team spirit. Evening saw them relax with their friends and mentors around bonfire with songs, music and group reflections.
Day 3: Departure to Delhi via Nainital
After an early breakfast, prize distribution ceremony was conducted to appreciate participation and enthusiasm. In Nainital, visit to Cave Garden, boating, Naina Devi temple, shopping in Tibetan market was organized. We transferred by jeeps to Kaladhungi & later in the bus followed by hot dinner.
Day 4: Arrival
Reached Delhi at 4 a.m. in the morning.
Conclusion:
The trip to Pangot was a remarkable blend of adventure, learning, and self-discovery. It offered students a much-needed break from routine academics while nurturing resilience, environmental responsibility, and teamwork. All safety measures were strictly adhered to, and the students returned home with unforgettable memories and a renewed appreciation for nature.
Class 11 Pangot Excursion 14 May to 18 May 2025

The trip aimed to bring the students closer to Mother nature and instil in them values of discipline, sportsmanship and perseverance.With varied activities organised round the clock,the students were continuously on an adrenaline rush.Each day started with warm up at 6:30 and with no distractions of phones and fueled by a good diet of wholesome and nutritious food their physical and mental abilities were at their zenith.
Day 1 saw them participate with full enthusiasm in Zipline,Nature walk,Air hoope etc
Day 2 saw them on a trek to the pictuesque Naini Devi Hill top.
This long and difficult trek not only helped them build their resilience but also develop sportsmanship and a team spirit
Evening saw them relax with their friends and mentors around bonfire with songs and story telling.They were also given journals to record their experiences and observations
The prize distribution on the last day was like a cherry on the top with prizes like best camper,best cottage best sportsperson,not only motivated them but also made the experience more enjoyable,This could be seen by the thunderous applause for the whole organising team which seranded the whole valley
SECONDARY WING EXCURSION OF CLASS – IX
MUKTESHWAR, UTTARAKHAND

Educational trips facilitate ample learning opportunities for the evolving young minds, especially in shaping their beliefs. Fostering this motto, Ahlcon Public School ,New Delhi organised an Educational Trip for class IX to Mukteshwar in Uttarakhand, which is around 357 kms from Delhi, from 16th April to 20th April, 2025. The objective of this program was to give the students a power packed experience to enable them to enhance their confidence , be independent and also acquire new skills.
The students participated in various activities under the able guidance of their Camp Instructors and supervision of their teachers for four days.
On 16th April ,the students departed from the school around 10 pm and reached their Resort in Mukteshwar on the morning of 17th April, enjoying the breathtaking views of Kathgodam’s green landscapes, mountains and valleys, enroute.
The three day stay at Divinity Resort were packed with a lot of adventurous activities like Zip Line, Burma bridge, Rappelling, trekking to the nearby village, Bhalugad falls and Chauli ki Jali. There was also a night trek to make them learn survival techniques. They also got the opportunity of bonding with one another through team building activities and games. Not only this they enjoyed themselves by singing songs, dancing and having a bonfire everyday.
Overall the students had a very enriching and unique experience as they learnt about the simplicity of life, disconnecting themselves from technology and immersing themselves in the present moment. They discovered the importance of teamwork, as they collaborated to play games and navigate through the wilderness. They also developed a deep respect for Nature, understanding the need to preserve and protect the fragile ecosystem that provides all with such incredible beauty and solace.
The breath taking landscapes, the fresh and pure air of the mountains, the pleasant weather, the delicious food, the warmth of the campfire and the camaraderie among friends created memories which will forever stay etched in their hearts.
