In today’s world, the knowledge of science and its applications in day-to-day life has become a necessity. The school plays an important role in imparting not just the basics of science but also in offering opportunities to learn through experiments and be creative and invent. The Scientia Club of the school provides the much-needed platform to the learners to question the science theories and to think out-of-the-box. The Inter-school fest ‘INNOVENTION’ organised by the club revolves around the concept of innovative inventions which can be the vision of the future of science. Through different inter-disciplinary science activities, the club directly or indirectly makes people aware of the issues, their impact on Earth and the urgent need to resolve them. With the help of teachers, the club members finalise the activities’ plan and organise the event. Planning, designing and executing the activities enables the members to enhance their subject knowledge and develop their soft skills.
