Ahlcon Public School successfully organized the fourth edition of its Football Premier League from 11th to 27th August 2025, bringing together young football enthusiasts for a spirited display of talent, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The event commenced on 11th August with a formal welcome of the distinguished guests, followed by the entry of the four participating teams. The tournament was officially inaugurated by the Guest of Honour, Ms. Deepika Venkatesh, an alumna of the school who has represented Delhi in the Senior Women’s National Championship on four occasions.

The inaugural match between Sentinels and Vanguards set the tone for a series of thrilling encounters. Over the course of the tournament, the four teams competed with dedication and determination, captivating the audience with their energy and sporting spirit.

The grand finale, held on 27th August, witnessed Astro FC securing victory over Vanguards FC. The champions impressed spectators with their exceptional teamwork and consistency throughout the tournament. Astro FC also earned the prize for the ‘Best Drill'. Individual awards were conferred upon Shreyansh Tiwari, who won the Golden Boot for his remarkable striking performance and Piyush Dudeja, who received the Golden Glove for his outstanding goalkeeping skills.

The winners and runners-up were felicitated by the Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht, who also addressed the gathering. In his speech, Dr. Bisht highlighted the pivotal role of sports in holistic education, emphasizing that games not only improve physical health and fitness but also nurture teamwork, discipline, decision-making, resilience, and leadership among students.

With words of encouragement and appreciation, the Principal formally declared the Football Premier League 4.0 closed, leaving behind an inspiring message on the importance of sports in shaping confident, responsible, and well-rounded individuals.
