Ahlcon Public School , Mayur Vihar hosted the third edition of Model United Nations AHLCON MUN 3.0 on 28 October, 2022, Friday in the school premises. It was the first offline Ahlcon MUN 3.0

The conference focused on helping the students to become aware of the functioning of the United Nations as well as educating them about public speaking, debate, diplomacy, problem-solving, persuasive writing and team work.

Around 130 delegates from approximately 16 schools from Delhi -NCR participated in this mega- event out of which 40 delegates were from Chinar Public School, Alwar . They all were enthralled to be a part of the extravagant platform for debating on international issues, drafting resolutions to combat issues and to socialize. The event was preceded by a number of mock sessions, in which the participants were informed about their field of research, the official procedures of an MUN.

There were 5 committees: UNHRC, UNCSW, UNDP, AIPPM and IP. The conference commenced with informal instructions given by the Executive Board Members. All the 130 delegates used their diplomacy and applied the methods of reasoning and arguments to defend and justify their country’s policies.

The debating skills of the Delegates of Chinar Public School, Alwar bore fruit and won them the award for the ‘Best school Delegation’.

The school Principal, Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht encouraged the young delegates with his wise words. He appreciated the conscientious efforts of the Event Convenor, Ms Roopam Gupta and the entire Social Science Department and congratulated them for the stupendous success of the conference. The due credit was given to the Organising Committee members (OCs) for their tireless efforts .

The experience at MUN Conference 2022 has created a lifetime memory for all the young diplomats and served as a stepping stone for further MUNs .
