events : APS Investiture Ceremony 2023
Ahlcon Public School organised the Investiture Ceremony for the session 2023-24 on 1st May 2023 in the school auditorium. Follwing the different stages of school education mentioned in NEP 2020, the school this year had student board members from the fourth stage- Secondary Stage as well as members from the third stage- Middle. Filled with spirit of sincerity, determination and integrity, the selected students from classes 10- 12 ( Secondary stage) and 7-8 (Middle Stage) were set to take up the role of leaders and discharge the responsibilities vested in them. The programme started with the lamp lighting and prayer followed by the Principal Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht’s address. Dr. Bisht congratulated the new council members and guided them on developing effective communication, interpersonal skills and decision-making ability after overcoming the challenges like temptation to gain popularity and offering personal favour to friends. The members were also guided to shoulder the responsibility with authority but without being proud. They must ensure that their words and actions match; thus, lead the path with good examples for fellow students to follow. The team was motivated to create a calm environment of caring and sharing with mutual respect. All office bearers were reminded that the the keys to success are conviction through actions, integrity and compassion.
89-member Prefectorial Board, including 9 School Posts, 48 House members from Secondary section and 32 House members from Middle section, was formally felicitated in the presence of dignitaries, teachers, and students. The new addition to the school posts saw JAYESH KARNATAC as School Ambassador. The council members took the oath, which was administered by the Principal, Dr. Bisht. On behalf of the team, the newly appointed Head Girl, DISHA GARG acknowledged the responsibilities vested in the team and promised to deliver their best with sincerity and integrity. The Head Boy, UDIT UTREJA, delivered the Vote of Thanks. The solemn ceremony concluded with the School Song.
