Key Highlights
Prayer & Thought for the Day- Itni Shakti Hume de na Data prayer; The thought of the day was – "Unity is not just our strength; it is our responsibility."
This quote means that Unity is the strength of our nation because it brings people together despite their differences in religion, language and culture. However, maintaining this unity is the responsibility of every citizen. We must respect one another, treat everyone equally, and promote peace and harmony. By standing together and valuing our diversity, we can keep our nation strong and united.
News Update: Important school, national, international news, and weather report were presented.
Special Performance:
We may speak in languages, a thousand words apart,
But the tricolour beats alike in every Indian heart.
From Kashmir's snowy mountains to Kanyakumari's shore,
We are one nation, one family, forever and evermore.
The Ganga flows with stories, the Himalayas stand with pride,
Different faiths and cultures, yet one spirit lives inside.
From the rhythms of Bhangra to the grace of Bharatanatyam,
Our differences are treasures, our unity a precious anthem.
We are the colours of a rainbow, shining in the sky,
We are the wings of freedom, together we can fly.
No language can divide us, no boundary break our chain,
For the love we share for Mother India shall forever remain.
Sardar Patel, the Iron Man bold,
United our nation, brave and gold.
His dream of unity, strong and true,
Inspires our hearts in all we do.
So let our tricolour fly high,
A symbol of hope beneath the sky.
One nation, one spirit, one destiny,
United we stand, forever free!
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
Speech/Presentation:-
National Unity Day Speech
“Different roots, different branches, yet one magnificent tree - that is the beauty of India!”
Good morning, respected Principal, honourable teachers, and my dear friends.
Today, we gather to celebrate National Unity Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, whose unwavering determination united hundreds of princely states into one strong nation.
India is a land where countless languages whisper different melodies, diverse cultures paint vibrant colours, and countless traditions flourish together. Yet, beneath this beautiful diversity beats one heart — the heart of India!
My dear friends, unity does not mean being identical; it means standing together despite our differences. It is the invisible thread that binds us, the unshakable bridge that connects us, and the extraordinary strength that carries our nation forward.
Remember, a single thread can be broken, but thousands woven together become a rope of remarkable strength.
Let us not merely take pride in our nation, but also become worthy of its pride.
Because our diversity makes us beautiful, our unity makes us powerful, and our India makes us proud!
Thank you, and Jai Hind!
