Introduction:
The theme of the assembly is to highlight and remind students of the importance of heritage in our busy lives and how and why it must be preserved.

Key Highlights:
Prayer & Thought for the Day-
Gayatri Mantra was recited. The inspiring thought of the day was read by Radhika Chauhan of 10-D: related to the theme of heritage protection and conservation.

News Update:
Important school, national, international news and the weather report was presented by Ananya.

Special Performance:
Self composed poem on the significance of heritage was recited by Anika Saini

Speech/Presentation:
1. Divyanshi Singhal spoke about the significance of World Heritage Day celebrated by UNESCO on 18th April;
2. Radhika Chauhan read the thought for the day;
3. Navya Sood presented some interesting facts related to world heritage sites;
4. Anika Saini presented a self-composed poem;
5. Kaashvi Gautam delivered the positive affirmation pledge to the students.

Principal Address:
Dr.Bisht appreciated the efforts put in by the Heritage Club presentation. The Class X CBSE toppers were felicitated by the school.

Conclusion-
The aim of the assembly was to remind students about the significance of heritage at a community, national and world level. The presentations will sensitize students to be more aware and careful with our surroundings. The assembly was appreciated by the students and the faculty.
