Topic – Connecting Cultures

Introduction

The students of class 10E and EBSB CLUB today presented a wonderful Assembly on the the theme ‘Connecting Cultures.’The children were enlightened about the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative of the government which tries to promote National Integration and build a stronger emotional connection between citizens of different states and Union Territories.

Key Highlights

Prayer & Thought for the Day-

The Assembly started by invoking the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati.

It was followed by the thought which was presented by Tvsha Jain of class 10E. The thought was- 'Cultures are different colours of the same rainbow.' It emphasized that when we respect and learn about cultures, we build understanding and friendship.

News Update:
The students were updated with the latest International and National news,along with the sports news and weather update.

Special Performance:
As Delhi has been paired with Sikkim, the students highlighted the beautiful culture of Sikkim through a beautiful poem, a mesmerising song and a rhythmic dance performance. All these presentations got a thunderous applause from the students.

Speech/Presentation:
A beautiful speech on the above topic was presented by Manya of class 10E and Sragvi Bhardwaj, the president of EBSB CLUB, emphasizing once again to look beyond our own cultures, learn about others and appreciate the diversity tat exists around us.

Principal Address:
Principal Sir applauded the hard work and efforts put in by the students of class 10E and EBSB CLUB in presenting such a wonderful and engaging Assembly. He motivated the students to give proper respect to all cultures.

Important Takeaways-
The children updated their knowledge about the culture of Sikkim by all the beautiful presentations. They understood the importance of 'Unity in Diversity.'
