Ahlcon Public School hosted the event ‘Confluence’, the multifaceted and interdisciplinary Interschool Fest on the 5th of August, 2023.

With a grand assemblage of nearly 400 participants from over 30 schools of Delhi & Delhi NCR, it hosted 12 innovative collaborations and competitions merging various domains viz. Language, Literature, Maths Economics, Commerce, Science and Technology.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Director -Academics, CBSE in addition to an erudite panel of jury; which comprised learned alumni and appraisers from diverse walks of life.

With the banner of ‘One Earth, One Family and One Future’- the G20 motto, Ahlconites put up an exemplary dais where numerous disciplines amalgamated into an effortless spotlight. The Principal, Dr Deepak Raj Singh Bisht welcomed the participating schools and highlighted the imperative need to work towards a sustainable and progressive future, deep rooted in values. He urged the aficionados in the audience to set their goals high and to use this opportunity to learn by exploration and experience.

The Director of the Ahlcon group Dr Ashok Pandey introduced the motive of organising the event as Confluence that intends to host exquisite students and incentivize their transformation into holistic intellectuals of the future, so as to be a hub of future nation builders.

Honourable Chief Guest Dr. Joseph Emmanuel enunciated his appreciation for events like Confluence, the soul of the event being experiential learning. He reflected on holistic approach of NEP 2020 that facilitates experiential learning by integrating innovative pedagogy.

Confluence through a plethora of events was an impetus to vibrant minds to transform the learning experience. The event, Sketch-o-Pen presented a congruous fusion of art and English literature whereas the mellifluous Sanskrit shloka gayan Kavya Taringini merged diverse topics like desh bhakti to prakriti. The Hindi character enactment Manthan, portrayed powerful women figures in Hindu mythology. French event, Personalité Française' added a global dimension to the fest.

Mathematics events, Math Matrix, and Math-o-Tale, ushered a literary twist on rational conceptions. The Science and Tech -oriented contentions provided a boost to the tech wizards through Tech Gizmo and Robo Soccer was paired with Graffiti that merged Science and street art. The meticulous Pitch Perfect, provided a pitch to become the most successful scientific entrepreneur en route to triumph.

The essence of the fest was to appreciate the impetus within every partaker and the Rolling trophy for the event was won by the team from Amity International School, Noida

Thus the confluence of dreams has set into motion a crusade towards experiential learning imbibing joy and curiosity for greater good. In the collaborations and competitions while streams of thoughts may have differed in direction, they all merged into a single confluence of amelioration.

Confluence 2k23 was the first of its kind and closed with an undivided opinion of its success!
