Ahlcon Public School hosted the event 'Confluence', a multifaceted and interdisciplinary interschool fest, after its glamorous launch last year, on the 10th of August, 2024.

With a grand assemblage of nearly 500 participants from 40 schools of Delhi & Delhi NCR, it hosted 12 innovative collaborations and competitions merging various domains viz. Language, Literature, Maths, Economics, Commerce, Science and Technology.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Arjun Ray, assistant professor at IIIT-Delhi in addition to an erudite panel of jury; which comprised learned alumni and appraisers from diverse walks of life.

The theme for the event highlighted the pivotal role that holistic development plays in the making of young leaders; further highlighting how confluence 2024 was an event much inspired by the Olympics which itself is a confluence of athletes from around the globe, each bringing their unique skills,hailing from wholly different milieux. Both unveiling a magnificent confluence of human achievement and spirit, transcending individual differences to highlight a shared pursuit of excellence and camaraderie.

The Principal, Dr Deepak Raj Singh Bisht welcomed the prodigious crowd and urged them to traverse beyond the conventional highs of winning to recognise that true comradeship and a united, shared skillset are the better parts of the journey. Moreover, he put the notions of a memorable experience and sublime relationships in the limelight, for the young generation to look forward to, calling upon the participants to utilise the unique platform to the best of their abilities and hone their skills to obsidian perfection.

Dr Arjun ray addressed the gathering as the guest of honour, regarding the event as a unique experience for hands-on learning. He recounted his own childhood and the need for internships for untainted talent to help realise the stark distinction between a learned skill set and a serviceable mastery.

He galvanised the partakers, appraising them as established despite their young ages. Dr. Ray also expressed his anguish at the now popular notion of a despondent youth, imploring one to not pay heed to the tears one may shed, for they find no shelter even in one's own eyes, at last lifting the spirits of the entire assembly in a most appreciable fashion, setting the tone for a euphoric learning opportunity.

Confluence through a plethora of events was an impetus to vibrant minds to transform the conventional learning experience. The event, Sketch-o-Pen presented a congruous fusion of art and English literature whereas the mellifluous Sanskrit shloka gayan Kavya Taringini merged diverse topics like desh bhakti to prakriti. The Hindi character enactment Manthan, portrayed brave figures in Indian history. French event, Personalité Française' added a global dimension to the fest. Mathematics events, Math Matrix, and Math-o-Tale, ushered a literary twist on rational conceptions. The Science and Tech -oriented contentions provided a boost to the tech wizards through Robo Soccer which was paired with Graffiti that merged Science and street art. . The meticulous Pitch Perfect, provided a pitch to become the most successful scientific entrepreneur en route to triumph. Face-to-face blended business and economics and Commix Strip was commerce with an artistic meander. A never before event Ad-act-sustain challenged the young talent to collaborate towards sustainability.

The essence of the fest was to appreciate the impetus within every participant and the Champion trophy for the event was won by the team from Tagore International School, East of Kailash.
