Introduction - With this theme - students once again remembered Shri Rabindranath Tagore and his contribution to the society as well as the significance of the World Red Cross Day.

Thought of the Day – ‘You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water. ’ It is one of the philosophies of Tagore i.e one cannot achieve anything by just thinking or waiting – we must take action to succeed. Dreams only become reality when one steps forward with courage and put in consistent effort.

News Update –
National:
1. Today whole India is celebrating birth anniversary of Vishwa-kavi Rabindranath Tagore and also the Red Cross Day is being celebrated throughout the world with immense joy.
2. Intense political development in West Bengal, following Elections clashes with BJP alleging violence and TMC worker facing scrutiny.

International:
1. Longest Air-to-air missiles ever exported. Russia sells 300 R-37Ms to enhance Indian fighter fleet.
2. ISI utilized Chinese supplied satellite data and hardware to monitorize military movement.

Speech Presentation -
The Red Cross, founded by Henry Dunant in 1863, is a promise of relief in suffering, comfort in despair and light in darkness Across nations and generations, the Red Cross has proven to be a source of hope to people. Its extraordinary courageous people, have crossed the boundaries of race, religion and nationality to serve the strangers in need. It teaches us that true strength lies in empathy and kindness. Students honored the Red Cross Day.

Simultaneously, students celebrated today the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore. Tagore’s philosophy was simple yet profound: he believed in a world “where the mind is without fear and the head is held high.” He taught us that education is not just about facts, but about being in harmony with all existence.

Conclusion –
It was an engaging and insightful assembly.
