Ahlcon Public School, in its endeavour to provide holistic education hosted the inauguration ceremony for the second version of Ahlcon Football Premier League on 8 August 2023. The sole purpose of this league is to support the budding players showcase their talent and sportsmanship.

The chief guest for the occasion was Mr Arjun Vajpai,a mountaineering prodigy and the Guest of Honour was Mr Pradeep,an accomplished sports professional . The programme commenced with the rendition of Gayatri Mantra. The four teams namely Mavericks FC ,Icons FC ,Eternals and Vortex FC showcased their team spirit and sportsmanship by presenting their respective drills .The team players have been introduced to the Chief Guest and the dignitaries. The School Principal , Dr. Deepak Raj Singh Bisht administered the sports oath wherein the players pledged to participate in the league in their true spirit of sportsmanship by abiding the rules and regulations of the game.

The Chief guest , Mr. Arjun Vajpai in his address ,motivated the young players to chase their dreams and find the Everest of their life by pursuing their own interests and inclinations. The Chief Guest declared the Ahlcon Football Premier League 2.0 open .This was followed by the inaugural match between team Mavericks FC and Eternals. It was a treat to the eyes to witness the players thronging the field with boundless enthusiasm and tremendous zeal. The battle was won by team Mavericks FC, owned by the school principal and managed by Mr D.K Narwaria by 1-0. This inaugural match will be followed by a series of matches to claim the coveted Ahlcon football Premier League trophy for year 2023. The final match will be played on the closing ceremony day i.e 31st August 2023.
