Beyond Borders: Ahlcon’s Global University Connect

Ahlcon Public School, in collaboration with KIC UnivAssist, organised a University Fair 2026 for the students and parents of Class XII on 31 August 2026 in the school auditorium. The event aimed to provide students and parents with first-hand information about higher education opportunities, admission procedures, academic programmes, scholarships and career pathways at leading international universities.

The event witnessed the participation of representatives from 17 prestigious universities from the United States, the Netherlands, Hungary and Qatar. The participating institutions included Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida Institute of Technology, Indiana University Bloomington, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, Lynn University, Rollins College, San Jose State University, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Stony Brook University, SUNY Plattsburgh, University of Groningen, University of New Hampshire, University of Oklahoma, University of Pécs, University of Texas at Arlington and Georgetown University in Qatar.

The representatives of each university interacted with students and parents, providing valuable insights into various undergraduate programmes, eligibility criteria, application processes, scholarships and financial aid, campus facilities, student support services, internship opportunities, and prospective career pathways. The interaction enabled students to compare diverse academic options and gain a better understanding of studying in an international environment.

The Fair served as an effective platform for career exploration and informed decision-making, enabling students to connect their academic interests and aspirations with suitable higher-education opportunities. The presence of university representatives also encouraged students to think beyond conventional choices and explore a wider range of global academic pathways.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to KIC UnivAssist and all the participating university representatives for their valuable contribution. The University Fair was a meaningful and enriching experience that empowered students and parents with information and perspectives essential for making thoughtful decisions about their future academic and career journeys.
